The Ayries Trust exists to improve the quality of life of children and adults with learning difficulties, health problems, food insecurity and mobility difficulties in an area of Tamil Nadu, South India.

 

The Trust works closely with the Ayries Society, based in the villages of Veerareddikuppam and Aladi in the Cuddalore District of Tamil Nadu.

 

The Ayries Society accomplishes its work by:

• running a school for children with learning disabilities
• diagnosing and treating tuberculosis
• supporting and providing nutrition and counselling for families with HIV and AIDS
• providing practical support for people affected by polio and cerebral palsy.
